ONOSE MODULAR REFINERY, HELPING THE NATION ACHIEVE SELF- SUFFICIENCY IN REFINED PETROLEUM PRODUCTS!
A massive project which is capable of changing the economic and social realities of Delta State in particular and Nigeria as a whole, is gearing up for commencement later in the year and precisely, November 2024.
Christened, Onose Modular Refinery and sited at Agbartho-Otor, Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria, the facility is planned to refine well over 60, 000 barrels of crude oil a day when fully operational. Construction work at this all important facility is scheduleed to commences on November this year. The November construction date was deliberately chosen by stakeholders to enable contractors take advantage of the dry period to work as the terrain, is not very conducive for major construction during the rainy season.
Onose Modular Refinery is an integrated oil and gas facility, orchestrated and facilitated by Mr Jim Elueni, Managing Director/ CEO of Onose Deep Oil & Gas Limited. He is an astute businessman and philanthropist of no mean standing, who is committed to solving any problem facing his people and ensuring their happiness.
The refinery is built to solve problems associated with importation of refined Petroleum products, create employments for our youths, increase internally generated revenue of Delta State, arrest youth restiveness, and contribute to the enhancement of energy self sufficiency of the country.
At the moment, every impediment that can thwart the commencement of construction of the refinery has been cleared and stakeholders have met all their obligations. For instance, foreign partners have confirmed their participation, and have even visited the site. The refinery is also into partnership with the NNPC etc.
When completed, the refinery will change the economic and social life of the immediate and larger environment, and stakeholders are very upbeat and positive about its potential and possible impact on the environment.
We say kudos to Mr Jim Elueni for seeing to the realization of this laudable project.
